Himmelfarb & Sher has negotiated and arranged the refinancing and/or restructuring of cooperative underlying mortgages and have scheduled all of the end loan closing transactions between the prospective homeowners and their lending institutions, as well as coordinated the pre-closings with the master closing of title, in connection with our representation of tenant associations, cooperatives, or condominiums.
We are also involved in all phases of bank representation pertaining to all aspects of residential mortgage and commercial loan closings, as well as foreclosure litigation, loan workout/mortgage modifications, the sale of bank owned real estate and loan portfolio acquisitions.
We have extensive experience regarding foreclosure litigation through bulk sales and individual closings of REO properties on behalf of the aforementioned lenders, including portfolio acquisition of both non-performing loans and REO properties, the resolution of complex title issues, foreclosure problems, contingent loan financing, and occupancy and surrender agreements.
We have litigated residential, condominium, cooperative, as well as complex commercial cases and foreclosure matters.
